The Aspen Skiing Company t ' � purchased Buttermilk from Pfeifer in 1963; lift facilities at the time of �,' . � � purchase were the Baby T-Bar, the Savio Chairlift �2 and a T-Bar � -�� from the base area to midway. Before opening for the 1963-64 � .i season, the Aspen Skiing Company instalted the present Ribiet #1 • ;� ..r.: = double chairlift in place of the T-Bar for transportation from the base 't", area to midway. The T-Bar was then moved to the Tiehack side of i.. ;�;��. %'�� the mountain and served the terrain now served by Chairlift #5; the - . -s.�e4� �:;-. T-Bar became known as the "Sterner T-Bar."
