OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS i
OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, I;;_;..
ESTABLISHING TEMPORARY WEIGHT LIMITATIONS �
_ FOR THE PUBLIC ROADS IN THE BRUSH CREER
VILLAGE SUBDIVISION; AND PROVIDING THAT
� SUCH TEMPORARY LIMITATIOIIS BE EFFECTIVE
'�� FOR NINETY (90) DAYS OR UNTIL PERMANENT
WETGHT RESTRICTIONS FOR TAOSE ROADS ARE �

;� WHEREAS, the County has accepted, with certain limitations, ;;•.��: �
�;�, the maintenance of certain public roads within the Brush Creek �"�

Village Subdivision; and '

°��� WHEREAS, the Brush Creek Village Homeowners' Association has '

' '� approached the County with information and documentation
� indicating that those public roads are deteriorating rapidly and

�'� that this deterioration is be3ng cause@ in large part by trucks
and other heavy equipment on the roadways; and ' �'�'

WHEREAS, the Homeowners' Association has consulted with
engineers and road construction contractors and is working on a
:;�� permaneat plan for the reconstruction and regulation of the roads
in the subdivision; and
. WHEREAS, the Homeowners' Association has requested ah
�� emergency Resolutian establishing weight limits an the public

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY

That for ninety (90) days from the effective date of this
Resolution or until otherwise amended or superceded by

�"±-��+ Resolution, there shall be a mandatory weight restriction on all ;

��•��= Village subdivision of 40,00o pounds, gross vehicle weight,
