WHEREAS, Pitkin County owns and operates the Courthouse '
� and wishes to contract for the Value Engineering poction of this ,;: �

WHEREAS, a competitive bid process was conducted in October �T� .

1986, at which time trie firm of Rudd Construction, Inc. Was selected '
as the lowest responsive bidder with a bid of S5pUU.00 to �y� '

WHEREAS, Seven Hundred & Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ��; � r
, (6725,o0u.00) buqgeted for the entire attic project and approved ','"�"
dnring the 1986 budget process; and , •

WHEREAS, the contractor is familiar with the type, location "

scope of work the County needs to hane performed; and '
� WHEREAS, the Facilities Manager shall have primary control '�{`
of the contractoz's activities and the administration of and
compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract; } •
