through his leadership of Mountain Rescue and other business and ��

WHEREAS, Gregory Mace was active and effective ia preserving the '

community resource, end;

Geographic Names that an unnamed peak in the Castle Creek Valley (, �
be named "Greg Mace Peak". Specifically, the Board proposes that

� the 12,528' peak located in Section 24, Range 85 West, Township -
, ,�.� 12 South of Pitkin County, immediately east of the Pearl Pass r
� Road, south of Castle Creek Road and north and west of Cooger '-.,'
,� Creek, known informally and locally as Iron Mountain, be so , • �

�� named. That peak, overlooking the Castle Creek Valley where Greg
•'� was raised and where he lived and worked, wi11 serve as a fitting
:� memorial to his life and work.
