� 5. Operation of the Companv.

� to pickup and delivery of passengers, loading and unloading of �"

;�'�� permit, may pick up passengers as long as the other company is �

' without notice and at�such times and in such manner as the County, ii

safety of Airport passengers. Such inspections shall include, j.'�
�� without limitation, compliance with PUC inspections and reguire- � �

;� If a safety defect in any vehicle is discovered during such
� inspection, the vehicle shall not be permitted to operate at the

I 6. Airport Traffic. Control. The County shall grovide
ground transportation supervision to all vehicular traffic and �' , .

pedestrians at the Airport during per3ods which. it determines to '#

'' be the peak airport operational �ours during the normal Pitkin
� County tourist seasons. Such supervisors shall be the employees ' .

%i� such supervisors shall be to direct the expeditious and efficient
loading and unloading- of passengers and baggage utilizing the

',�i �7. Place of Pavment. All rent paymeats shall be ,

� made without notice at the office of the Pitkin County Finance

� Colorado, or at such other place in the County of Pitkin, State
,I.� of Colorado as the County's Finance Officer may herezfter desig- •
• nate by notice in writing to the Company, and sha1.1 be made

�: in legal tender of the United States. Any checks given to the „
��� County shall be made payable to ��Pitkin County, Colorado" and �
'� shall be received by it subject to collection. Sums which remain
unpaid to the County more than ten (l0) days after the same �

A, The Company agrees to keep all areas occupied
by it in the Air Terminal or on the Airport in a neat, clean,
safe, sanitary and orderly condition at all times, and keep such '��Cx�,�
areas free at all times of.all paper, rubbish and debris at

by the County throughout andJor outside and adjacent to the. Air �

' Terminal; and will so use the premises� as to not injure them, '

� with other users thereof for policing and cleanup of the taxi �

in order to accommodate the efficient removal of snow therefrom ,

l0. 5igns: The Company agrees that no signs or adver- � �
tising materials shall be painted on, erected or placed in any n
� manner upon the premises or any other portions of the Airport � ,

11. Removal of Eauinment. All equipment and property -
placed by the Company at its expense in, on or about the premises,

1. Drivers shall abide by all Federal, State and County laws '; "
and the written and verbal directives of the Airport �,
Manager or his authorized Traffic Control Officer (TCO) t'
representative. If a driver disagrees with a directive, he i
shall file an immediate protest and comply with the �
directive (unless protest is safety-related). 7he protest
will be resolved at the earliest posaible time by the -
Airport Manager.

�. Drivers will remain in their vehicles at all times, e;ccept ,
` - � one driver from each company at one time may u�e the center • .:�.
terminal bathroom and eating facilities� and shall � `';
immediately return to his/her vehicle' without lingering in .
the terminal or� in front of the terminal. Each company
that has a contract with Pitkin County to operate a ground
transportation booth in the mai� terminal may have two (2)
employees of that company behind the booth for the purpose "'
of operating the baoth.
