Section 261, Subpart D, as it may be amended from time to � ',��� ' time. ,.zs� Section 12. Placement of Solid Wastes. The Contractor ' � � ~::�1 shall direct the placenent of all solid wastes received at the ' '_,: 1I �� �:4.. ;.;::1 �Landfill. Separate areas shall, be designated and maintained for ' ` � ��.":` the disposal of each of the following: tires; automobiles; appli- ances; carrion; and stumps, brush, lawn clippings and other �,:'_� landscaping materials. -� Section 13. Disposal Cover and Gradina. Exhibit A , '� Figures 1 and 2 (attached) illustrate the method the Contractor s .1 shall follow in the placement of commercial and community wastes ;. � � ! in the Landfill. The cells are to be constructed in five (5) to -I ' eight (e) foot lifts, with comgaction at two (2) foot intervals. The • Contractor shall assure an adequate supply of cover material at ' - ;r� l: ., � all times, including during the winter months when freezing may _ ,;:� occur. . "� Section 16. Fires. Open burning, incineration and the r ;.i;� non-commercial burning of solid wastes are prohibited and shall r � ' ` ,rt.., �';.�'� be enforced and prevented by the Contractor. In the event of any �. :`� , such occurrence the Contracter shall notify the Aspen Volunteer • �. ..,... `.� Fire Department and the County Health Department and seek their a`-� �,'' assistance. ' Section 17. Salvaainq. No salvaging shall be permitted '� '�� �. �,,� at the site, except for automobiles and appliances. A written ti' �. ! waiver of liability shall be executed by any person who wishes to '� conduct salvaging. ' �� Section 18. Disnosal Areas. The disposal• of solid � �' -� wastes shall occur only in locations approved by the Director of � �! Asset Management. No new disposal areas shall be opened •without � - __��I the prior approval of the County Enqineer. Seetion 19. Ponds and Ditches. Indemnification. Insurance.
