A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RESULTS OF A BOND
ELECTION FOR THE PITKIN COUNTY HOLLAND HILLS -
GENERAI, IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT; DECLARING THE '��'�
QIJESTION VOTED UPON AT SAID ELECTION PASSED; ���:_';;:n
REPEALING ACTION HERETOFORE TAKEN SN CONFLICT 1 '
HEREWITH; RATIFYING ACTION PREVIOUSLY TAKEN -
IN CONNECTION TAEREWITA; AND DECI,ARING AN i���: ,

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors (the "Board”) of the '
Pitkin County Holland Hills General Improvement District (the �'r, .
"Aistrict") did meet in special session on Monday, August 24, �
� 1987, being the next regular or special meeting ot the Hoard �
after the date of a special election held on Tuesday, August 18, ��:�

� GENERAL OBLIGATION

BOND QUESTION SUBMITTED: -
� Shall the Pitkin County Holland Hills General
•;� Improvement District, in the County of Pitkin and
State of Colorado, be authorized to issue, in one �.�
; series or more, its general obligation bonds, in the
� principal amount of not exceeding $210,390, or so much
,2 thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose of the
`-� acquisition, construction, installation or corapletion
of curbs, gutters, culverts and other drainage •
?� facilities, paving, lighting, traffic and safety
controls and devices, grading and other street and
.� safety protection improvements, together with all ,
s� necessary, incidental, and appurtenant facilities,
s� improvements, land, and easements; each series bearing 't:,.
interest at a net effective interest rate not exceeding
eleven percent (11�) per annum, maturing serially �
commencing not later than three (3) years and extending �
� not more than twenty (20) years from their date, or !;
� dates, payable from annual, general (ad valorem) tax
; levies, without limitation as to rate or amount, and to
be issued and sold at one time, or fzom time to time,
'� in such manner, upon such terms and conditions, with �

Section 5. The President, Secretary and officers of
the District be, and they hereby are authorized and directed to
take all action necessary or appropriate to effectuate the

provisions o£ this resolution.
Section 6. If any section, paragraph, clause or " _
provision of this resolution shall for any reason be held to be �'`-
� invalid or unenforceable, the invalidity or unenforceability of k`''�`
such section, paragraph, clause or provision shall not affect any
of the remaining provisions of this resolution.
� Section 7. All acts and resolutions in conflict or j �
''" inconsistent with this resolution are hereby rescinded, annulled
and repealed to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency.
This repealer shall not be construed to revive any act or
;`=y-�:� resolution, or part thereof, heretofore zepealed to the extent of
such conflict or inconsistency.

�'��= Section 8. By reason of the fact that the present
'�' ;"��`�: street and safety protection improvements are not adequate to
,,�„`�'� raeet the present and future needs of the District, of the need to
-f;'_::`..; immediately apply the proceeds from the general obligation bonds
;;��:'? of the District and for other compelling reasons, the Board finds
;�'•b:k;� that an emergency exists, that this resolution is necessary for
;~� the immediate preservation of the public health, safety,
;:st-;?. convenience and general welfare, and that it is enacted for that
-y�' purpose; and the Board determines that this resolution shall take
""�"'�' effect immediately upon its final passage.
