an application to the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin ;
County, Colorado (hereinaPter "Board") requesting Special Review

the site of the former Boise Cascade lumber yard near Holland ;

WHEREAS, the Board heard this application at a duly noticed
T� public hearing on July 27, 1987, at which time evidence and

%�--:� testimony was presented with respect to this application; and

� ^ WHEREAS, the Pitkin County Planning and zoning Commission

'P,f� a reviewed this application at their regularly scheduled public

�';,� � meeting on June 16, 1987, and recommended denial of this applica-

o tion to the Board based on the incompatibility of this applica-
