L Pitkin County,a Colorado home-rule county,is the owner,sponsor and operator of �:'-
tlie Aspen/Pitkin County Airport(Sardy Field},located in Uie vicinity of Aspen,Colorado,and has •
the authority to enter into contracts for the development and operation of the airport,pursuant to, ;:
' � ini�i�,1973 C.R.S.41-4-101 e��,30-35-202,Title IV of the Pitkin Counry Code,and Section
J �� 8J of the Pitkin County Home Rule Charter;and f'

ti 2. Pitkin County entered into a Contract Agreement for a term of five(5)years with Isbilt `
Associates,Inc.on Apri17,]995,for the provision of airport engineering consultant services to the �J,
� Aspen-Pitkin County Airport;and
ti �

- 3. Isbill Associates fornlally requested permission from the County to assign its wntract to ;
_ . i Raytheon Infrastructures Inc.,for the remaining period of the Contract,April 23, 1997-April 6,
' ! 2000;Section (1 of die Contract's required clauses states,"Neither the County nor the Consultant '
f; shall have tl�e right to assign or transfer its interest or obligations hereunder without the written �
' - wnsent of flie odier party,which consent shall not be unreasonably witkilield;"and ��`

i' 4. Isbill represents to the County that it will retain the name Isbill Associates and that its �
airport support services and personnel will continue to be the same,including direction and control
by Greg Isbill;and j
! ! 5. On the recommendation of staff,the BOCC finds that consent to this assignment is in Yhe

. i best interest of the County,and its airport. i
