4. The Boazd considered the request at its regularly scheduled meeting of May 14,1997, ,�!

- • 5. The Boazd determined that the proposed development meets Uie criteria established in ;j
Section 4-14030 of the Land Use Code,and therefore found ihe extension to be

` NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Pitkin Counry Board of County
. Commissioners thai it dces hereby grant an extension to the vested pmperty rights until
May 14,2000,for the West Buttermilk Pfister Tract 5 property described herein subject
to the following conditions:
1. All conditions of approval establislied in BOCC Resolution No.91-165(Exhibit B) . '
shall be adhered to unless specifically modified by this Resolution. '•
.. 2.The applicant shall adhere to all material representations made in the application and ,
public meetings. k
- 3. A sewage disposal permit must be approved by the Environmental Health Department -
before a building permit can be issued. •
4. The location of the well and the quantity and quality of water must be reviewed and
approved by the Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of a building permit. ( ,

5. The Environmental Health Department must approve any fireplace/woodstove permit
prior to issuance of a building permit.

6.The applicant shall comply witli the following specific wildfire mitigation measures:
a. The area around the structure shall incorporate landscaping with wildfire , -

� 1) A cleaz 10 foot perimeter shall be establislted around all structures where
i vegetation shall be maintained at 6 inches in height or less.
4' 2}All branches from trees and hrush within a 30 foot perimeter of all shuctures �
shall be pruned to a heigl�t of 10 feet above the ground with removal of ladder fuels �
F from azound trees and brush. Shrubs less than 10 feet in height should have lower
