2. Pursuant to Section 3-20030 of the Land Use Code,ffie Community Development Director, ,�•?�

" hereafter"Director",may permit the temporary use of land in the County for special events,if adequate r�

' provision has been made for police supervision,if necessary;pubiic parking;insurance;site set-up ;�'

- maintenance and clean-up;emergency services;and safery of operations.
. � 3. Due to the size and nature of this event,the Director opied to forward this request to the Board for
. aPproval.

i 4. The Board considered the Applicant's reqvest to hold a benefit at a public meeting on August 13,
� 1997,at which time the Board found that the Applicant's request meets the requirernenis of the I,and Use

. � Code.

� NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board that it does hereby grant a Temporary �
' Use Permit for the Concert for Hazmony,subject to the following conditions: �
L The Applicant shall adhere to ail material representations made in the application and in the public �
meeting. �'
2. This temporary use permit is issued for a benefit concert,which will take ptace from 3:00 pm to �l'�' �
(0:00 pm on Saturday,September 13,1997. 'Fhe permit is issued for a 48 hour period beginning at "�
12:00 pm on Friday before the event and ending at 12:00 pm on Sunday. Music must stop by 9:00 �,' ��`-

3. At least fourteen(14)days prior to the event,the applicant shall provide verification of compliance 1-�'
with the following requirements to the Communiry Development Department. Faiture to comply
with these conditions will resu(t in revocation of the temporary use permit for the event. 'y::._.-. _

A.. The Environmental Health Deparhnent s6alf approve a noise variance for the event. �t '� �
$. The applicant shaU comply with all requirements of the Environmental Health Department,
including,but not limited to,food service and air qualiry mitigation, y�.:, �
i C. The Risk Manager shall review and approve the insurance for the event. �'.;,. '•
D. The Emergeney Services Coordinator shall review and approve the safety and operations �
plan.
��.,;.?'' E. The Aspen Fire Protection District shal l approve the applicant's plan to meet all the ��'
� requirements of.the District •
F. The Community Development staff shall review and approve a site plan showing the �';
' (ocation of the stage,concessions,first aid tent and emergency access,dumpsters,toilets, �'�
parking,etc.
G. The Community Development and Engineering staff shall review and approve a ��f
hansportation and tra�c control plan which encourages public transportation and d
. . discourages automobile use and ensures that through traffic is not impeded on West ;-�
