WITNESSETH, that wnereas the County intends build a crew building, hereinafter called the PROJECT, in accordance with the terms and ` conditions outl(ned in the Proposal Documents and the associated Plans and Specifications. �, NOW, THEREFORE, tne County and the Contractor, for the ' considerations hereinafter set forth,agree as foliows: ► 1. THE CONTRACTOR AGREES to furnish ail the necessary labor, � materials, equipment, tools and services necessary to complete in a � workmanlike manner all tasks required within the scope of work for the � ' completion of the Project, in strict compliance with the contract � documents herein mentioned,which are made a part of this contract. ; � t � a. GONTRACT TIME AND uOU1DATED DAMAGES. Work under � : this Agreement shall be commenced by July 28, 1997, and substantially � 3 , completed by September 1, 1997, or the contractor hereby agrees to pay - County Liquidated Damages in the amount of S100 per calendar day for each day or part of a day the Project is not completed by the comptetion ; ; date here established. i i � I i i ' b.
