REQUEST: The applicants are requesting approval of a temporary use permit to hold an outdoor benefii � i conceR on Saturday or Sunday,September 6,7,14,or 15,1997,at[selin Field on Maroon Creek Road. � � The City of Aspen has not yet authorized the use of Iselin Field for this event. The applicant has been in " . � contact with the Parks Department and the City Manager,and they plan to discuss this issue witii the City i T; � Councit on Monday,July 21. Public access to Isetin Field for the concert will be frnm 3:00 pm to]0:00 pm,and music will cease '/ � by 9:00 pm. Staffwil!provide wmments aY the meeting. Zoning: The applicant must submit a site plan indicating the location of concessions,bands,parking,etc., i for review. Also,all signs must comply with the County's sign code. Maroon/Castle Caucus: 'Rie applicants met with the Caucus,and"the Caucus agreed that the location and _. � the time for the concert were a good choice." 'I'he Caucus emphasized the need for a thorough clean-up y following the event,no music after 10:00 pm and no parking on Maroon Creek Road. The Caucus also �i suggested that the event be an suto-free and an alcohol-free event. � i STAFF COMMENTS: Seetion 3-20030 of the Code,as amended by Ordinance No.97-16,authorizes the !
