1. The Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County has �
received a request on behalf of the members of the Board of �•
Directors of the Aspen Conaolidated Sanitation District to make an !
S� appointment to the said Board of Directors as provided by C.R.S.
ISection 32-1-905{2.5) ,
, 2. The Board of County Commissioners has been advised by
representatives of the Aspen Consolidated Sanitation District that
� the need exists for such appointment and the Commissioners are the
proper Board to make such appointment.
3. The Board of Directors of Aspen Consolidated Sanitation
- District has requested that Frank Loushin be appointed to the Board
of Directors of Aspen Consolidated Sanitation District.
NOW THEREFORE HE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado that Frank Loushin is �
hereby appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the Aspen
Consolidated Sanitation District until such time as his success�r.

re-appoinlment for Prank I.oushtn,as a Boud member of the Aspcn Cousolidsted Sanitation Distdct
Board af D'uctWrs. I would appredate it if yon could schedule this at the next regular County
� Commissioncrs meeling so that Mc,Loushin's appoinlment would bc effeclive fac the Boerd'e April �,

�,:';( Pursuant to GRS.Section 32-01-905(2)the County Cominiuionecs have tfie authori.ty to �
� appoiat a persoa to fiU a vacxnt Board position,if the remaining Board members are unabie to do
so within sixty(60)days after a vacancy occurs. Unfortunately,due to the shoriness of the remaining =
tcrm of this Board posidon,the District was unable to appoint a qualified person within the sixty(60)
day time period• '
Having previousiy served on the Aistrict's Board of Airectocs,Mr.I.oushin,as a registered �
- elector and pmperly owner within tbo Dtsulct is willing to finish out the icmaining two months on � ..
the now vacant Boacd position. This posidon will be up for election in May,1994. u
By appointing Mr.Loushin to tLe vacant positioa,thc Commissionets will greatly assist the �
District Boerd's ability to secure quorums for reguJar and special mcetinga scheduled over the next
