1. Jim Curtis, representing the Kraut. Consulting Team (
requested that Board of County Commissioners waive the County I • '
Landfill fees for the Kraut Affordable xousing Prject excavation � .
dirt.

2. It is the position of Pitkin County Commissioners to ,
support affordable housing projects in the community whenever
- possible.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, that the Pitkin County '
� Landfill fees for excavation dirt from the Kraut Affordable Housing ;
Project be waived and that:
1. This waiver covers only excavation dirt and does not include - .
other building materials.
\ 2. The Kraut Affordable Housing Project Team will endeavor to �
find alternative locations for the excavation dirt and will only
� 1 use the County landfill if alternative locaCions are not available. "
