RECITALS
1. The Susan G. Komen Foundation, hereinafter"Applicant",
��'' has applied to the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin
County, Colorado, hereinafter "Board", for approval of a
Temporary Use Permit to hold a public benefit barbecue at the
Woody Creek Racetrack and a motorcycle rally on July 30, 1994.
2. The Applicant has also requested a fee waiver from the
., � i Board.
�`'` 3. The Land IIse Code requires that the Board determine that
the request for a permit is necessary to hold the public
. event or celebration and that adequate provision has been
�.
-- made for police supervision, area maintenance and public
--�, .' parking.
� 4. The Board considered the Applicant's request to hold a
benefit at a public meeting on July 26, 1994 at which time the
� Soard found that the Applicant's reguest meets the
? requirements of the Land Use Code. H.

hereby grant a Temporary Use Permit to the Susan G. Komen

1. The Applicant shall adhere to all material representations �x%
made in the application and the public meetinq. h

2. The Applicant shall provide signage which clearly identifies j�""
. the route of the motarcycle rally and the vehicular �•
circulation patterns in and around the Racetrack area. All �

signage shall be removed by July 31, 1994.
3. The Applicant shall physically block public access to the
event from Upper River Road to the old Elam Road. This access
; shall be reserved for Emergency Vehicular Access only.
'- .�� 4. The motorcycle rally participants shall use Highway 82 and the
( Smith Bridge Road to McClain Flats Road as ingress and egress
to the "Race for the Cure" Barbecue.
