The Aspen Valley Hospital (AVH) has applied for a Minor ' ��j Amendment to a development permit for the Castle Creek Terraces F� �t�. Assisted Living Facility (which is located as described on Exhibit q ^�� "A" attached). 2. By Resolution 87-121, the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners (hereafter Board) approved a twenty-four (24) unit Assisted Living Facility which included two separate buildings, one manager's unit and a 4,00o square foot Senior Center. � ' 3. The existing facility contains six (6) one-bedroom apartments of approximately 510 square feet, two (2) one-bedroom apartments of approximately 555 square feet (one of which is the manager's apartment), six (6) studio apartments of approximately 400 square feet and the Senior Center of approximately 4,000 square feet. 4. AVH proposes to amend their development approval by converting �� ' . the six (6) one-bedroom, 510 square foot apartments to �� approximately 200 ta 250 square foot studio apartments. � 5. The approval for the Assisted Living Center as outlined in � BOCC Resolution No. 87-121 is hereby amended to provide that the -�n existing structure will include two (2) one-bedroom apartment of approximately 555 square feet (one of which is the manager's ' apartment), six (6) studio apartments of approximately 400 square feet, and twelve (12) studios o£ approximately 20o to 250 square }'� Y feet and the approximately 4000 square foot Senior Center. 2. Two of the one-bedroom units may be converted at this time. i: ' `� ` Prior to conversion of the four (4) remaining one-bedroom units the applicant shall provide an evaluation of the adequacy of the conversions. The evaluation shall include comments from the following groupsc A. Pitkin County Department of Human Services; B. Senior services Council; � C. Castle Creek Terrace AdmissionsJAdvisory Committee; S. � D. Pitkin County Social Services; �x E. Senior Housing Options, Inc.; and � �;' � - �_: � F.
