, RECITALS
4- 1. The County of Pitkin, on behalf of the Pitkin County
Sheriff's Office has submitted an application to the
Colorado Department of Transportation, Office of
• Transportation Safety for funding a project for Che
�;; prevention of drunken driving pursuant to Title 23 United
States Code, Section 410; and
_ 2. The County of Pitkin has the authority and responsibility
- to fund the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office and to sign
contracts on behalf of the Pitkin County Sheriff's
Office; and ;
3. A resolution by the County of Pitkin formally approving `
� the Contract, and authorizing the proper signature to be *j°
affixed to the Contract indicating such approval is '
_ � required by the State of Colorado_

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado hereby approves the te;m,
conditions and obligations of Alcohol Incentive Grant Contract #95-
01-17-05, and hereby authorizes the appropriate authority t.o sign ';
,_ the Contract on behalf of, the County of Pitkin.
