IN SUPPORT OF TI�E 24 HOi3RS OF ASPEN EVENT

RECITALS
1. The Aspea Skiing Company/Iand Rover 24 Hours of Aspen holds an annuat
event to benefit several local charities including the Sunshine Kids,the Aspen Valley Slci C1ub,
��:' the Aspen Junior Hockey Club and the Aspen Skating Club.
2. This year,the event will be held November 26-29 and wili include a Community Open
, House and Ski Night,an ice show, a dinner dance, an uphill race, and a pancake hreakfast, tn
.,Yy� - addition to a 24hour ski race.
3. This event is an extraordinary communiry cetebration t1�at brings people together while
benefitting several worthy Iocal causes and this year's program has something that everyone can
participate in.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RFSOLVED by fhe Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County,Colorado that the Board supports the 24 Hours oP Aspen Event and encourages
people to attend and suppoR this worthy event.
