RECITALS -
i. The Aspen Community School, hereinafter "Applicant", has _

applied to the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, �
! Colorado, hereinafter "Board^, for approval of a Temporary
:, � �.
. Use Permit to hold a public benefit picnic on the School '=;
j-,
� grounds on June 20, 1993, pursuant to Section 3-8.12 of the �
Land Use Code. �

2. The applicants have also requested a fee waiver from the '``
Board. �.
- �`� 3. The Land Use Code requires that the Board determine that
the request for a permit is necessary to hold the public event �
,:
or celebration and that adequate provision has been made for
;�
police supervision, area maintenance and public parking.
��?; 4. The Board considered the Applicant's request to hold a

� . benefit at a public meeting on May 25, 1993 at which time the
``• Board found that the Applicant's request meets the
requirements of the Land Use Code. �

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board that it does
hereby grant a Temporary Use Permit to the Aspen Community School 4

to hold a benefit picnic subject to the following conditions: ' �'-{

j 1. The Applicant shall comply with the Colorado Food Service ;
� regulations and Temporary Food Handling guidelines, which are
available at the Environmental Health Department office. � '`�`�
� 2. The date and hours of operation of the benefit shall be !-::
