� AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF CODNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITRIN COUNTY�
COLORADO� GRANTING REZONING FOR THE FOIIR ACRE PARCEL DESCRIBED IN
- "E%HIBIT A" FROM AF-1 'TO PIIBLIC IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE A SNOW
STORAGE FACILITY FOR THE CITY OF ASPEN.

� y 1. The City of Aspen (hereafter "Applicant) has requested
� that the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County
� (hereafter "Board") rezone a portion of the Paepke Airport
� Ranch property, more specifically described in the attached
i "Exhibit A", from AF-1 to Public (PUB).
'� � 2. The County is currently under contract with the owners
of the Paepke Airport Ranch Property, to purchase a larqe
tract of land that includes the four (4) acre parcel which is
• the subject of this rezoning.
3. The apglicant has also requested, approvals for Special
Review, Subdivision Exemption, and GMQS Exemption, for the
proposed Snow Storage Facility.
� 4. The Planning and r.�n:.ng Commission reviewed the
applicant's request for Rezoning, Special Review, Subdivision
- �ir � Exemption, and GMQS Exemption at a regularly scheduled public
�`� � meeting on November 17, 1992 and found the proposal to be
consistent with the applicable sections of the Pitkin County
Land Use Code and recommended approval of the Applicant's
request with conditions.
5. The Board reviewed the Applicant's request for Rezoning
- ----- at a duly noticed public hearing on April 13, 1993 at which
time evidence was received and testimony heard with respect

Section 6-3.4(a) (3) of the Land Use Code, which requires
applications for rezoning to be submitted once a year in June. �

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED HY THE BOARD that the 4-acre �
( parcel described in the attached "Exhibit A" is hereby rezoned from -
� AF-1 to Public (PUB) in order to accommodate the proposed snow
� � storage facility for the City of Aspen.

� BE ZT FINALLY ORDAINED that this ordinance be published by � t'
� title and short outline as provided hy Section 2.8.1.3. of the �',
y' Pitkin County Home Rule Charter. �,
