(iii) Guidelines to Minimize Interference with Agriculture and Wildlife �� . � a. Applicants shall adopt covenants which are intended to _.:, minimize interference with agriculture and wildlife, `�'� including, but not limited to provisions for adequate water rights, prohibition of dogs, and maintenance of fencing between residential and agricultural uses. b. Where appropriate, developments shall utilize Planned �;:<�; Unit Development (PUD) requlations to create lots which y��;; are smaller than the minimum lot size oP the Land Use Code for the underlying zone districts. c. Roads serving developments shall be constructed at a �{r� sufficient distance from property boundaries so that �::-0a _ .:� normal maintenance including snow removal does not - damage agricultural fences. �'"-�� d. Developments shall make provisions which ensure the �.��;;� maintenance of fences if development sites adjoin stock � operations. �-�Y'� e. Developments which are not permanently occupied shall _�;�� make provisions to ensure adequate maintenance for irrigation ditches which traverse the site. f. Developments shall make provisions to ensure historic - access to ditches, headgates, or roads used to maintain - agricultural fences. Alternate access easements `__';� suitable for these purposes may be considered. :`�` (iv) Priority Preservation Lands a. In determining which lands shall be restricted against ?
