CALL TO oRDER: The special meeting was called to order at 4:30 �;� i,,r p.m. �. " T READING AND SET FOR P[TBI.IC HEARING - RESOLi]TION AIITHORIZING ' , AMI:NDMBN'p TO RSLBASE OF DEED RESTRICTION ��'�'�t IANGHOIISE AND �j`�.' .. RESOLUTION ADTRORIZING AMENDMENT OF SITE LEASE - HUNTER IANGROUSE �:��';�,.: MOTION TO APPROVB PASSED WITH TF70 YEA AND ONE NAY VOTE WITfI ti oNE ABSTENTION - Commissioner Ethridge stated. that he would have to declare a conflict of interest because he is a consultant far �" � �_.., � Hunter Lonqhouse and withdraw himself from voting on these two �.!':'•. ' items. Commissioner Ross stated, that he is opposed to this matter. He thinks it is the wrong way to try and accomp2ish what they are trying to do. He feels that the legislative authority should guarantees the mortgage. The way this is drafted, the County would lose control down the road and could lose it to a private � owner who could go free market with it just to get a better bond rate. Tim Whitsitt, Assistant County Attorney, responded by stating ; that the County would have a 90 day first option on it if it + should go in default. � � . A discussion ensued with regard to this matter. � � Commission True stated that he might have a conflict of interest � because he use to represent the Hunter Longhouse Employee � Housing, Inc. � Jim Adamski, Director of the Housing Authority, stated that they are not a party in the matter. This is between the Housing '� � �r.. Authority and the County. •�, _ { ' � A discussion ensued with regard to this matter. ,:� : � It was agreed that because he is not representing the applicant . at this time, and therefore, not receiving any punitory money he :� :r':i-'�; ; would be allowed to vote at this reading.
