RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, ALLOWING TEMPORARY OCCUPANCY OF
THE SPORT OBERMEYER BUILDING AT THE ASPEN AIRPORT BUSINESS CENTER
BY HAGMAN YAW ARCHITECTS LTD

WHEREAS, on January 23, 1990 the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, hereinafter "Board"
heard a request by Hagman Yaw Architects Ltd. to allow the
temporary relocation of their office to the Sport Obermeyer
building at the Airport Business Center; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Staff reviewed the code requirements
with the Board noting the restrictions in the B-2 zone district;
and
WHEREAS, the Board understands the unusual circumstances
surrounding the need of Hagman Yaw Architects Ltd. to find
temporary accommodations while an historic building is being
renovated in order to house the firm on a permanent basis; and
WHEREAS, Hagman Yaw Architects requested the temporary
relocation to the Sport Obermeyer building for 6-8 months while
the Elks Building is being remodeled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board that Hagman Yaw
Architects Ltd. may temporarily relocate in the Sport Obermeyer
building for a period not to exceed 8 months from the date of
initial occupancy of the Sport obermeyer building with the
following conditions of approval:
1. Additional parking spaces shall be provided on-site
which bring the existing and additional office space in

the Sport Obermeyer building into conformity with the
area and bulk requirements in the Land Use Code
regarding parking;
2. The applicants shall be encouraged to use mass
transportation for trips between town and the airport
business center; and
APPROVED by the Board at its regular on February 13, 1990.
