APPROVAL TO THE STARWOOD HOISEOWNER'S ASSOCIATION '
TO CONSTRLTCT AN ADDITION TO THE FIRE STATION �

WHEREAS, Starwood Homeowner's Association (hereinafter
�'Applicant"), is the owner of Tract C-2-A within the Starwood
Subdivision has applied to Pitkin County for Growth Management
_:.:� Quota System Exemption [Section 5-510.2(f)j for an Essential
'=':;� Community Facility; and
'-. WHEREAS, the proposed application is for an approximately
,. 1,000 square foot addition to an existing fire station; and
��_'� WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission (hereinafter
•. ; "Commission") considered the Applicant's request at their regular
,b� � public meetings on January 22, 1991 and recommend approval of the
project to the Board of County Commissioners (hereinafter
�=;f..1 "Board") ; ahd

-°:i WI�REAS, the Board considered the application at a duly
�;K`�� noticed public hearing on March 12, 1991 and is thereby
c,•i
- sufficiently advised as to the circumstances of said application. ,
y � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
_ v:� Commissioners hereby grants approval of the Starwood Homeowner's
_�:�� request for Growth Management Quota System Exemption Section 5-
` '� 510.2 (f] for essential community facilities, subject to the
following conditions:
-• ::�� 1. The applicant shall obtain a Board of Ad7ustment
� variance prior to the issuance of a building permit for
