COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN CQEJNTY, COIARADO,
SETTING OPERATING RULES FOR REGIILAR MEETTNGS

5 RECITALS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to keep its �'`
� meetings as open and available to the public as possible; and
' WHEREAS, the press of work for the Board of County
� Commissioners has oftentimes 1ed to meetings extending well into � �

the night; and
•T"� WHEREAS, snch extensions limit the public availability of the

:!{;;. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County ,
•, ,b� Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado shall:

� 1. Commence their regular public meetings at 5:00 pm unless
� otherwise noticed.

�:��j 2. Such public meetings will be required to adjourn at 9:00
�� pm unless a majority of the quorum vates in favor of an extension.
��' a 3. Land Use Public Hearings shall be structured as follows:

by the Board will be called for by the Chaizman.
�,' b) Once a motion is on the floor, the proposal is open
