The Memorandum of Understanding between the CSU Extension Service
and Pitkin County requires that we provide b0.days' notice to CSII
`z in the event that we are anticipating any significant change in the !`
Memorandum of Understanding. By this letter we are providing
notice that it is the intent of Pitkin County to terminate its
agreement with the CSU Extension Service effective January 1, 1992.

We consider the services provided by CSU to be valuable and are
• therefore undertaking an effort to form a regional consortium of
providers with Garfield and Eaqle County. It is our desire to
support a regionalized service, but Pitkin County is unable to
provide the significant financial support necessary to continue a ,
. stand-alone Extension Service proqram for Pitkin County. A
• reqionalized effort will be far more efficient and will more
effectively provide for the citizens Pitkin, Eagle and Garfield
County.
