Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Commissioners held on the 3rd day of July. 1922
Meeting called to order by Chuirman Grover, and the members .fere all found to be -resent.

J. E. Yilliame having offered to purchase the tax certificatec of sale and the taxes to l
date on the Mount Hope lode end laillsite U. S. S. No. 1881, offering the s m of `25.00.

date on Gatton Lode, Ind. Dist. U. S. S. No. 1422, offering- the sum of ``e5.00. Upon motion

It ap earing to be advisable to change the boundary line now existing between election
Precinct Noe. 15 and 16 for the convenience of electors and al:o to designate a polling
place, and upon representation of such el= ctors now appearing before the Eoard, the
following motion was unanimously passed and adopted.
The boundary line between the election precincts Nos 15 and 16 is hereby estcblished
as lying upon the rigge between East. :nd :est Sopris Creek, a point two miles above the
junction of said Creeks' and across the valley of the = , oaring fork Liver upon the line
b.twcen sections 21 and 22 in Township 8 S. I. 86 west extended and that the following
place for Laid Election Precinct No. 15 is hereby designated as Snow Mass Post Office.
The fol,_ov ing Judges of Election were selected to serve at the Primary '_;lection to be
held on the 12th. day of September 19e2, and at the Gneral Election to be held on the
7th. day of novernber 1922. also the following were selected as the polling places at
said elections.

Meeting called to order on the 7th. day of 'uly. 1922, by Chairman Grover and all members
were present.
J. D. Brunton havin- filed his ai1idavit that the county road as the came extends thro
the n.endale Stock 1±'arm has been assessed and taxed to him for the years 1910 to 1920
inclusive and that the amount of taxes: paid by him in part cnd a portion still due on
account of said L'ounty rod land le the sum of ` :5e.89 -, which he asked to have rebated
and cancelled and said f"fidavit being supported by the etatement of Earl 1, LcPhee, the
County Aeses:or and it apvearing that said tax ie errooneous, upon motion the treasurer
was aut iorized to rebate that portion of , 5;.89 heretofore paid by said J. D. Brunton 4
and to ca col that portion of said amount shown to be still due.

Minttes ofthe meeting of the Board of Commissioers held on the 7th. day of Aug. 1922.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Grover, and the following were present. Grover, O'kane
Reed. Attorney Clark and Clerk Jennie E. Sanders.
-The minutes of the former meeting read and approved.
It coming to the attention of the Board that Henry Gilbert the iegistrar of Vital Statistics
in ritkin County is deceased, upon motion Chas Dailey Jr. was appointed to fill said
position.

with the D. R. G. H. to Snow Mass be
acquired and opened as a public Higaaay. It was resolved that the Board is in favor of
granting such a petition and will endeavor to purchase and oxen such road, provided that
the bridges end land can be purchased at a reasonable price. Upon said resolution being
put upon its passage, E. J. Grover and Chas O'Kene voted in the affirmative, and C. M. Reed
in the negative.
Meeting adjourned, to meet on the 8th. of July. 1922.

At the came tine the Board considered certain proteete received from various other
re idents of Fitkin County, asking that no cr,anp'e be made in the location of this road,
end after considering the matter fully a mot on wae' adopted to the effect that the location

Mary je. Rogers having offered to purcheee the tax certificates of sale end the tax7Js to daie
on the Dext 1- Lode U. 6. S. No. 6899, and. the Boulder City with U. S. S. No. 4400, both being
in the Columbia Mining 1:eit offering the sum of ,5167. Upon motion the said offer - :a.s
. aceel end the Treaeurer and Clerk authorized and directed to transfer end assign the seid

Sweneon end Johnson heviiag offered to rent the County Stable tent. The Board on motion
rented this tent to Swenson and johnson for 3 monthe at the rate of , per month. SwarLon,
