CHANGING THE FIRST MOBILE HOME
PARK LICENSE APPLICATION DEADLINE

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado,
,
adopted Mobile Home Regulations as an amendment to the Land Use Code of the Pitkin
County Code in Resolution No. 79-109, dated September 24, 1979, and
WHERE f•c, Section 10-4.3 of said Regulations states that:
"Ali owners of mobile home parks shall apply for such license
no later than September 1st of each year, provided, however that the
first annual license shall be applied for no later than six (6)

months following enactment of this regulation."
iICREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard evidence at its regular
meeting on February 11, 1580, from a mobile home park owner and from the Planning
ri Office that field inspections needed to evaluate existing water, sewer, grading
and street conditions cannot be made before the first application deadline
(March 24, 1980) due to the presence of snow on the ground covering such
utilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado, that for the purposes of annual licensing of mobile home
parks within Pitkin County, according to Article 10 of the Land Use Code, the

first annual license application deadline shalt be May 24, 1980; the second
annual license application deadline shall be September 1, 1981; and each

successive annual license application, deadline shall be September 1st of
each succeeding year.
Adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado,
at their regular meeting held Fei•ruarry 25, 1980.
