COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO,
ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Ordinance No&T 2001
RECITALS
I. Pitkin County wishes to set fees which are consistent and fair to the public
and which reflect the expense incurred in providing such services to the
public.
2. Certain fees currently charged for development review no longer reflect
the cost of providing the necessary levels of such services. The policy of
the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners is that development
shall pay, in full, the cost of development review in Pitkin County. Long
Range planning shall be paid through the general fund.
3. Payments due to the County for obligations due to sales and tax are not
regarded as fees and therefore not included in the Ordinance. The
Ordinance does not reflect an encompassing fee schedule.
