HomeMy WebLinkAboutbocc.ord.058.2001 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT Ordinance No&�T 2001 RECITALS I. Pitkin County wishes to set fees which are consistent and fair to the public and which reflect the expense incurred in providing such services to the public. 2. Certain fees currently charged for development review no longer reflect the cost of providing the necessary levels of such services. The policy of the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners is that development shall pay, in full, the cost of development review in Pitkin County. Long Range planning shall be paid through the general fund. 3. Payments due to the County for obligations due to sales and tax are not regarded as fees and therefore not included in the Ordinance. The Ordinance does not reflect an encompassing fee schedule. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FEES 1. Planning and Zoning: These Fees shall be based on the attached fee schedule (exhibit A).
