Pitkin County holds title to property upon which the facilities for the WW County's Public Works Department are located (the "Property"). The legal description for the Property is attached hereto as Exhibit A. lv 2. On September 27, 2000, the Board of County Commissioners approved Resolution #190-2000, which granted a Major Amendment to a Special Review, Special \ Review and GMQS Exemption to the Pitkin County Public Works Department to construct vthe Public Works Employee Housing Project. W3. In order to obtain water service at the Public Works Employee Housing Project and to have such service available for the future development, the City of Aspen ta) Water Department installed a new underground water line on a portion of the Property. As such, the City of Aspen is seeking an easement from Pitkin County in order to maintain the new water line. O� NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby authorize the O Chair to sign on its behalf, the City of Aspen Easement Agreement, granting the City of Q Aspen's Water Department an underground right of way easement for the purpose of maintaining the newly installed water line as located on the Property.
