Intent�onaliy I�eft Blank c`:; •�. :.> ;�' -s . � �- — _ S � 2013 General En in��pport Pitkin County Public Works Engineering Support Services Task Order The planned services for this Task Order are to provide technical and engineering supporl, construction management and QA/QC testing on an as directed basis, to support the Pitkin County Public Works staff for its 2013 construction projects. The majority of this support will be associated with the AABC Improvemcnts. A Man-hour estimate has been compiled for budgetary purposes, but all directed work shall not exceed this budget without Pitkin County approvals. Work could consist of any of the following activities for the project: construction management and inspection, QA/QC, public invo]vement, structural analysis, hydrologic analysis and hydraulic design, coordination of utility relocations, existing condition survey, geotechnical engineering, environmental studies and assessments, traffic engineering, right-of-way staking, construction phasing plans as well as any coordination with Pitkin County, CDOT and affected communities. The work products, on a directed basis, may consist of public involvement materials, exhibits, reports, studies, preliminary plans and final plans and construction drawings, specifications, contract and bid documents. All drawings will be prepared in I1"x17" format to CDOT standards and Pitkin County guidelines. Standard drawings and specifications for construction will be those used by CDOT/Pitkin County Public Works Department. CDOT nomenclature and work item codes will be used for bid items, references to the work and the preparation of estimates and bid tabulations. Task 1.0 Project Management and Coordination 1.1 Initial Project Meetin¢. An initial Design Scoping Review meeting will be held and an on-sitc inspection will be made ro ensure that the project team is familiar wiYh the existing conditions as well as the project requirements. 1.2 Pro�ress Meetings. SGM and Pitkin County will meet at least once per month to coordinate the work effort, resolve problems, update the schedule, and determine information or items required from other agencies. Progress reports and billings will bc submitted on a monthly basis to the County Project Manager and will indude a billing summary with total percent billed for each task. All personnel provided by Yeh and Associates responsible for the materials testing and documcntation on this project will be qualified and certified for CDOT projects.
