AGENDA ITEM TITLE: Resolution Appointing Commissioner Chair and Vice-Chair,
Representatives to Various Boards, Committees and Authorities

DESCRIPT[ON OF ISSUE:
Attached is a resolution appointing Chair and Vice-Chair and making Board appointments to
various boards and committees. These appointments are made annually and were discussed at a
work session on January 7, 2014.

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO,
APPOINTING CHAIIZ AND VICE-CHAIR; COMMI5SIONER REPRESENTATNES TO
VARIOUS BOARDS, COMMITTEES AND AUTHORITIES

RECITALS
L The Pitkin County Commissioners are the duly elected representatives of the voters of
Pitkin County.
2. As such, the Pitkin County Commissioners serve on various Boards, Committees, and
Authorities concemed with significant local issues and activities. At their work session on January
7, 2014 the Board of County Commissioners discussed these various committees and now wish to
make the following appointments including Board Chair and Vice-Chair:
NOW, THEKEFORE BE IT RESOLVED that these appointments are to be effective immediately
and will remain in effect for the balance of 2014 unless it is necessary to change such appointments
at a later time,which will be done by subsequent Resolution.
