AGENDA ITEM TITLE: Special Event Liquor License Application for
the Bus to Show
STAFF RESPONSIBLE: Jeanette Jones
SUMMARY OF ISSUE: Bus to Show has applied for a Special Event Liquor License
to sell malt, spirituous and vinous liquor for an event to be held on January 24th and
25th at 404 Airport Business Center, Aspen, CO 81611. The event is scheduled from
9:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Notice of the public hearing on this application was posted on
the premises within ten days prior to this hearing.
BACKGROUND: This is the first year that this applicant has requested a special
event liquor permit The applicants have applied to the community development
department for a special event permit and staff is recommending that approval of
this license be contingent upon that permit being approved/issued.
KEY DISCUSSION ITEMS: Staff and the applicant will be present at the meeting to
answer any questions the board might have. Additionally, I have asked Mike
Kreamer to attend the meeting to answer any questions the board might have
associated with the community development department issuing a special event
permit.
RECOMMENDED BOCC ACTION: Approval of a special event liquor license
contingent upon issuance of a special event permit from the community
development department.
The following documents are attached to this memorandum:
1) Application for a Special Events Liquor License
2) Secretary of State's Certificate of Good Standing
3) Letter from Aspen Brewing Company authorizing the applicants to use their
space for the event.
4) A diagram of the event area including where the liquor will be served

Aspen Brewing Company (LANDLORD) & Bus To Show/ALPINEAL
PRODUCTIONS (TENANT)
Aspen Brewing Company does hereby lease Bus To Show/ALPINEAL
PRODUCTIONS the premises located at 404 Aspen Airport Business Center for a
special event to be held Friday January 24th & Saturday, January 25th. The tenant
shall assume liability for the space throughout the duration of the event and return
the premises to its original condition no later than Sunday January 26th. The tenant
is solely responsible for all relevant liabilities, licenses & permits related to the
event and holds Aspen Brewing Company free and clear of any and all implications.
