RESOLUTION OF THE REDSTONE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
COMMISSION
PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT ON 213
REDSTONE BOULEVARD (PID: 272920103804)
Resolution No. L -2014
RECITALS
1. The Church at Redstone ( "Applicant ") has applied to the Redstone Historic
Preservation Commission, Pitkin County, Colorado ( "RHPC ") for approval of some
minor exterior alterations to the existing church at 213 Redstone Boulevard.
The lot is zoned "VR" Village Residential and contains 22,200 sq ft.
3. The lot is located within the Redstone Historic District and therefore is subject to
review by the Redstone Historic Preservation Commission, utilizing the Historic
Preservation Guidelines for Redstone.
4. The Applicant proposed the addition of two exterior doors and a porch roof on the
west side of the building and the installation of a window in place of an existing door on
the south side. No additional floor area or alteration to the existing footprint was
proposed.
5. The RHPC reviewed the application at a duly noticed public hearing on January
23, 2014, at which time evidence and testimony were presented with respect to this
application.
6. The RHPC found that the application is consistent with the applicable provisions
of the Historic Preservation Guidelines and that the review standards have been met.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the RHPC that it does
hereby approve the development for 213 Redstone Boulevard, subject to the following
conditions;
1. All documents provided by the applicant for the review by the board and /or are made
part of this approval, as amended herein, and any changes to the drawings or material
representations must be submitted to staff for review or submission to the RHPC prior
to start of the work.
2. Any exterior lighting fixtures must comply with the Pitkin County Lighting Code and
cut sheets need to be provided to staff for approval prior to purchasing the fixtures.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING was posted on the 17th day of January, 2014.
