AGENDA ITEM TITLE: Resolution Appointing Citizen Board Members

SUMMARY OF ISSUE:
At the July 8, 2014 Work Session the Board agreed to make appointments to the Senior Services
Council. The Board asked staff to prepare a resolution.
The resolution has been prepared for these appointments and is attached for your review.
BOCC RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Resolution attached

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO,
APPOINTING CITIZEN BOARD MEMBERS

RECITALS
1. Volunteer Citizen Boards are established per the Home Rule Charter and State
Statute.
2. The Board of County Commissioners wishes to make the following appointments
to the Senior Service Council.
3. This appointment is effective as of this date July 23, 2014.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Pitkin County, Colorado, that the following appointment is made:
Applicant& Citizen Board Term Expires
Joe High, Senior Services Council (regular/term#1) April 1, 2015
David Segal, Senior Services Council (alternate/term#1) April 1, 2016
APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON THE 23rd DAY OF JULY 2014.
