WORK SESSION ITEM: Pitkin County/Glenwood Springs/Town of Carbondale Scoping Comments RE:
Previously Issued Oil and Gas Leases in the White River National Forest, Chris Seldin
STAFF DIRECTION: Chris will include some additional comments in the letter. He asked and received
direction that the Chair will sign the document upon approval by Glenwood and Carbondale.
WORK SESSION ITEM: Memos of Interest
1. Clerk & Recorder Budget Supplemental Request, Janice Vos- Approved
2. Budget Supplemental Request for Elk Park, Gary Tennenbaum- Approved
3. Airport Terminal Advertising Concession Selection- Confusion about how to proceed and concern
expressed with how this supports other community services. Looking for a memo back on the entire
proposal and budgetary impacts. How does this allow for more public promotion of all small and large
events/activities/amenities? Don't want large advertisers to squeeze out small business owners and local
services.
4. Celestial Land Company Hearing Protocol- Use same land use procedure and public hearing. The Chair
will allow the neighbors a 30 minute single presentation, if they so choose. No limit on the Celestial
presentation.
5. Pro Challenge Overall Start and Stage 2 Start Bi Weekly Update- BOCC approved the format of the
Memo with Conditions and Triggers.
