He asked and received direction that the Chair will sign the document upon approval by Glenwood and Carbondale. WORK SESSION ITEM: Memos of Interest 1. Clerk & Recorder Budget Supplemental Request, Janice Vos- Approved 2. Budget Supplemental Request for Elk Park, Gary Tennenbaum- Approved 3. Airport Terminal Advertising Concession Selection- Confusion about how to proceed and concern expressed with how this supports other community services. Looking for a memo back on the entire proposal and budgetary impacts. How does this allow for more public promotion of all small and large events/activities/amenities? Don't want large advertisers to squeeze out small business owners and local services. 4. Celestial Land Company Hearing Protocol- Use same land use procedure and public hearing. The Chair will allow the neighbors a 30 minute single presentation, if they so choose. No limit on the Celestial presentation. 5. Pro Challenge Overall Start and Stage 2 Start Bi Weekly Update- BOCC approved the format of the Memo with Conditions and Triggers. 6. Letter of Interest — Sponsorship Startup Weekend Aspen- $750 from BOCC Discretionary Funds WORK SESSION ITEM: Future Agendas/Agenda Requests/Monthly Calendars STAFF DIRECTION: 1. June 24 — Aging Well Kick Off at the Mountain Chalet. Lunch will be served toward the end of the event. The BOCC is invited to attend and it is on your calendar for June 24`h 2. Governor Hickenlooper will be signing HB 14-1089 "10`h Mountain Division License Plate Qualification," and HB14-1021 "Highway Restriction Violation Penalties" on Thursday, May 15th at 1 1- 11:30 at the Healy House at 912 Harrison Avenue, in Leadville. Nobody can attend: Staff was directed to send over a brief thank you note to the Governor and others that Lake County Commissioners can read at the event. WORK SESSION ITEM: Open Discussion - STAFF DIRECTION: BOCC approved John Ely to prepare a Pitkin County letter of support, if it is needed, for SB 23. WORK SESSION ITEM: State Forest Report for the Roaring Fork Watershed STAFF DIRECTION: None, information only.
