ATPAYMOPI KIN COUNTY USE TAX
The General Contractor or Owner Builder is required to pay a Use Tax Deposit to Pitkin County(.5%)on the building permit valuation at time of issuance. All sub-permits
pulled under a building permit are paid by this deposit payment and should not pay Use Tax. Stand alone sub-permits are required to pay a Use Tax Deposit to Pitkin County
(.5%) Deposit.5% of 50%of project valuation.
Project Valuation(includes labor$ !4 880. Exempt: Exempt Organization Exempt ID#
Property liens may be placed on the owner's and/or the contractor's property when Use Tax is not paid.
Plumbing/Mechanical Permit is being issued on the condition that all items requested are on the approved plans. Any deviation shall require a
change order/or removal at the applicant's expense.ALL PLUMBING&MECHANICAL PERMITS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ON THE JOB SITE. If the
- 'equipment is being installed on an historic property or within an historic district,you must submit plans and/or elevations indicating the location of
the equipment,as well as the exact dimensions of the unit being installed.
