Clarke LAND USE ACTIONS BOCC OPEN DISCUSSION APPROVED JUNE 12,2002 MINUTES PITKIN COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING MAY 229 2002 CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Clapper called the special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners to order at 10:09 PM. COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Patti Clapper, Mick Ireland, Dorothea Farns and Jack Hatfield COMMISSION MEMBERS ABSENT: Commissioner Shellie Roy EUBANKS APPEAL OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE DECISION—MOTION TO CONTINUE TO THE BOARD'S REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULED TODAY AT 2:00 PM IN ORDER TO CHOOSE AN ACCEPTABLE CONTINUATION DATE Tamara Pregl—County Planner; Bonnie Eubanks and Billy R. Eubanks—Appellants; Herb Klein and Mitch Haas—Appellants' Representatives Due to minor surgery performed yesterday,Commissioner Shellie Roy was unable to make this hearing. She will,however,try to make this afternoon's regular meeting at 2:00 PM. Herb Klein, appellants' legal representative,informed the board that his clients would like a full board present for this hearing and requested a continuance. County Manager Hilary Smith usually verifies availability of the board for future meetings. As she was not present,it was decided to continue this meeting to this afternoon's agenda at 2:00 PM. At that time, hopefully all of the board members will be there along with Ms. Smith. And, a date for the continuation of this appeal will be selected that will be suitable for all parties. Chairperson Clapper moved to continue this appeal to the board's regular meeting agenda this afternoon at 2:00 PM in order to select a continuation date where a full board would be present. Commissioner Farris seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 10:17 AM.
