CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Rob lttner called the Board of County Commissioners
Special Meeting to order at 1:00 PM.
COUNTY COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Rob lttner, Rachel Richards, George
Newman and Steve Child.
COMMISSION MEMBERS ABSENT: Michael Owsley not present
ACTION: Commission Newman moved to enter the Special Meeting as the Board of
Health. Commissioner Richards seconded the motion. Motion passed 4 to 0 with
Commissioners lttner, Richards, Newman, and Child voting aye and Commissioner
Owsley not present.
PUBLIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH QUARTERLY UPDATE WITH THE
BOARD OF HEALTH
Staff: Liz Stark, Pitkin County Public Health Director and Director of Community Health
Services, Inc.; Tom Dunlop, Pitkin County Public Health Advocate; Kurt Dahl, Pitkin
County Environmental Health Manager and Dr. Kim Levin, Pitkin County Medical
Officer.
Ms. Stark, Mr. Dunlop, Mr. Dahl and Dr. Levin each gave their presentations as outlined
in their meeting packets.

ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Richards moved to adjourn the Special Meeting as
the Board of Health at 2:00 PM. Commissioner Newman seconded the motion. Motion
passed 4 to 0 with Commissioners Inner, Richards, Newman, and Child voting aye and
Commissioner Owsley not present.
