SPECIAL MEETING
REVISIONS TO THE PITHIN COUNTY LAND USE CODE
JANUARY 2, 2002
CALL TO ORDER: Acting Chairperson, Mick Ireland called a special meeting of the
Board of County Commissioners to order at 3:10 p.m.
COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT• • Commissioners Patti Clapper, Mick
Ireland, Jack Hatfield, Dorothea Farris and Shellie Roy
LAND USE CODE REVISIONS:
Ellen Sassano proceeded with a presentation on the planning efforts which staff feels are
the foundation for the land use code changes. These include the Clairon Tischler Study
the GMQS Reform, 2000 Aspen Area Community Plan, the 1993 Aspen Area
Community Plan, the Crystal River Plan, the Redstone Master Plan, the Down Valley
Plan, Capitol Snowmass Plan, Woody Creek Plan and the Housing Plan.
Marcella Larsen completed her presentation on the Urban Growth Areas and Urban
Zoning aspects of the code.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
