WORK SESSION ITEM: Memos of Interest
STAFF DIRECTION:
1. American Red Cross—approved.
2. Environmental Health—informational only, further information requested on monthly training and septic size
requirements and cost.
3. AVH Annexation—further research needed regarding City LUC process to determine if we want to annex
H&HS building.
4. Board of Adjustment—reappoint existing members&Patrick McAllister as alternate. Hold P&Z application
decision until May 21".
5. FCC Franchise Fee—informational only.
6. Airport Committees—informational only.
WORK SESSION ITEM: Future Agendas/Agenda Requests and Open Discussion
STAFF DIRECTION: Informed Board of Northstar Management Plan requirements regarding mosquito abatement
permit. Updated agenda changes.
WORK SESSION ITEM: Airport Master Plan Kickoff
STAFF DIRECTION: Plan process reviewed with Board and Study Advisory Committee members. Issues identified
by members for future consideration during plan development. Board to be updated on regular basis with some joint
meetings with SAC.
WORK SESSION ITEM: Legislative Update,Debbie Quinn
STAFF DIRECTION: Informational only,no staff direction.
WORK SESSION ITEM: Citizen Appointment,Nan Sundeen
STAFF DIRECTION: Board directed staff to prepare resolution appointing Tom Dunlop as a citizen appointment as
Pitkin County Public Health Advocate for a 5-year term representing County interest at state and federal public health
policy discussions.
WORK SESSION ITEM: Revisions to Lottery Funding, Connie Overton
STAFF DIRECTION: Board concurred with staff recommendation.
