Durant Aspen, Colorado 81611 Re: Lot 1, Block 4, Filing 2, Gateway to Snowmass Mesa Subdivision Dear Mr. Sherwin: This department has on file and has inspected the referenced partially constructed on-site sewage disposal system. As can be seen from the attached permit records, a permit was issued and never finaled. As a result, the permit was cancelled. This department would be in a position to reactivate and reissue the on-site wastewater disposal permit upon payment of $100.00 fee. The exact specifications for the tank and seepage pit depend upon the size of the house and anticipated water useage as specified in County regulations. With some rehabilitative and/or enlargement work on the seepage pit and the necessary additional components properly installed in the aerated treatment plant, the system can be permited, approved and placed into service. Some variables in house sizing and homeowners' preferances make it impossible to specifically detail all the improvements necessary, certainly a number of options and construction techniques exist to enable a purchaser to finish the construction of this system.
