I will put a "Final Inspection Approval" on ISDS Permit # 96017 for only the 5 bedroom main house. The setback distance between a well and the absorption field for a 5 bedroom house and an attached 1 bedroom caretaker unit is 188 ft. The distance between your second well and the absorption field is 166 ft. This distance meets the setback requirement between a well and the absorption.field for a 5 bedroom house which is 160 ft. If you build a caretaker unit in the detached bam, at this time, the sizing of the septic system (the tank and the field) is based on there being two bedrooms. The set back distance then between your wells and the absorption field would then be 202 ft. The minimum distance between a well and the absorption field must be 100 feet. The minimum distance between a well and an unlined irrigation ditch must be 50 feet. An additional 8 feet distance is required for each 100 gallons per day of design flow over 1000 gallons per day. This "8 foot rule" can be less only if it can be demonstrated by a Registered Professional Engineer, RPE, that this is not necessary to prevent contamination. The engineer would have to give information on the geological conditions and would then have to make the following statement: ' Based on the geological conditions and evaluation of risk of contamination of the well, it is not necessary to add 8 feet additional distance for each 100 gallons per day of design flow over 1,000 gallons per day as specified in the table to prevent contamination.! believe the_ foot separation between the proposed absorption field and the well is appropriate. 130 SovrH GALENA STREET - ASPEN, COLoRAw 61611-1975 - PHm 970.920.5070 - FAX 970.9205197 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY ASPEN * P[THIN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT THUS CER77FIC.ATE ISSUED PURSUANT TO TWE REQUIRE1f= OF SEC77ON 109 OF TWE 1994 EDITION OF TWE UNIFORM BUILDIIVB CODE IT CERTIFIES TWriT SAT TWE DATE OF LSSUAVCE TWE STRUCTURE AS DESCRIBED BELOW WAS W COMPLIANCE W17H THE VARIOUS RESOLU77ONS.ALVDORDIMLKESR£GULknIVGBUILDINEi r CONSTRUCT10N.LVD USE INTHISJURISDIC77ON. f%• Use Classification: Single Family Residence p y Building Permit: 6-119 p r" f" W Legal Description: Lot , Oh Be f oyful Subdivision ' { v Building Address: 0321 Katie Park rW ,v Owner of Building: Carbondale Land Development Corp'yt1 W owner Address: Box 9705, aspen y \✓ Group: R-2 Type Construction: V -N Use Zone: -SO E> \t{b Description: 5,323 square feet including three bedrooms, two ( w full baths, one 1/2 bath and one kitchen.
