The Contractor and Owner shall take whatever measures ore necessary to assure that c) the septic tank and sewer lines ore completely water tight to prevent infiltration of groundwater into the system, and b) the system is installed to prevent freezing of gravity sewer lines. 11. The Pitkin County Environmental Health Deportment and the Engineer shall be notified when construction commences and kept abreast of the construction progress so that sufficient inspection can be performed to assure conformance with these plans. Provide a minimum of 48 hours notice to each. 12.
