CONTRACTOR:
The Provision of Professional Moving Services for County Library Renovation(the "Agreement") dated
June 24, 2015 between the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County(the"County")and Florida
Library Designs Inc. (the "Contractor"), is hereby amended as follows:
Description of Change:
Contractor shall provide two(2)additional fork lifts from original scope of work and two(2)extra Contractor
personnel,a mover and a project manager.
Due to change in County moving dates,Contractor shall NOT perform the move from the Aspen Art Museum
(Temporary Library) into the renovated library as provided in the original contract.
Contractor shall maintain the scope of work to move the Snowmass Village (Temporary Offsite Storage)
collection back in to the renovated library.
Estimated schedule for work:
Contractor shall bring six(6)personnel,and hire three(3)—four(4)temporary staff. Contractor shall arrive
into County on April 8. Preparation for the move shall take place in Snowmass Village on April 9-10. On
Monday April 11th Contractor shall begin moving the shelving component to build the shelving. Once
50% to 70% of shelving is built, Contractor will start to bring books into the library. Once all the books
are out of the storage, Contractor will bring any remaining items out of storage into the library.
April 11th— 13th building shelving
April 14th—20th finish building shelving, move books out of Snowmass and get books on shelving
April 21st—23rd finish empting Snowmass
Reason for Change
Modifications are due to the change in move dates and increase of equipment needed based on knowledge
from the move-out. Pricing shall not change. The funds planned for the moving from temporary library to
fully renovated library will be allocated to the two (2) additional fork lifts and deploying two (2) additional
personnel.
