The Provision of Radio Services (the "Agreement") dated February 1, 2016 between the Board of
County Commissioners of Pitkin County (the "County") and Elk Mountain Technologies LLC (the
"Contractor"), is hereby amended as follows:

Assign County Budget Line Items to the various areas of work to be completed by Contractor:

Increase Contract funds by$40,000.00
Reason for Change
Clarification of County's Budget Line Items associated to the work tasks assigned to Contractor and to
increase funds to the Contract.

Proposed Contractor: Elk Mountain Product/Service: Radio Services
Estimated expenditure for the above network infrastructure Hardware& Software: $82,275.
This form is required,and is to aid you, in documenting your Sole Source request. Complete all portions of
this form. This purchase is clearly and legitimately limited to a Single or Sole Source. (Examples: original
manufacturer,no regional distributor, standardization etc):
The existing contract was renegotiated to better define vendor services,reduce hourly rates, and set a new
maximum contract amount of$40,000,
•
1. Contractor's Obligations. Contractor,under supervision by the Communications Sites Manager, shall
provide radio-related services to County. No work is to be undertaken without the specific written
approval of the Communications Sites Manager. The scope of the work may include but is not limited
to:
• Technical Tasks&Projects(e.g.,installing,maintaining,programming and repairing: land
mobile radio repeaters,pagers,radio antenna systems, analog and digital microwave radio
equipment, etc).
• Administrative Tacks&Projects (e.g.,assist with inventorying of Pitkin County subscriber
units,register Pitkin County agency subscriber units on the state DTRS system,provide .
training for county agencies on radio systems and subscriber units, attend meetings, etc).

transaction as a sole source exception to the Pitkin County Procurement Code.
