CUSTODIAL SERVICES
CLEANING PROPOSALApril 7, 2016
EXISTING CUSTODIAL CLEANING CREW:
2 crew working 7 nights per week, 365 days per year (12 hours of labor per day)
Plus an additional 12 hours per week to complete the periodic cleaning
PROPOSED CUSTODIAL CLEANING CREW:
4 crew working 7 nights per week, 365 days per year (18 hours of labor per day)
Plus an additional 12 hours per week to complete the periodic cleaning
PRICING RATIONALE:
1) For the new contract we need to add one additional crew per night to the crew
(from 12 to 18 hours) to accommodate the new areas that have been added to the
nightly scope of work as a result of the recent construction.
2) New pricing also includes an hourly wage increase for our cleaning crew. This is
necessary in order to remain competitive with the current pay scale in Aspen.
3) New pricing includes a small increase to the paper supplies and consumables
provided to the library on a monthly basis.
PROPOSED PRICING FOR NEW CONTRACT:
$11,950.00** PER MONTH
$850.00 PER MONTH FOR SUPPLIES
