APPOINTING DOROTHEA FARRIS TO THE TRANSIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

RECITALS
1. The Intermountain Transportation Planning Region(ITPR) of the Colorado
Department of Transportation(CDOT) is developing a Transit Element (TE),
consisting of a six-year plan and a twenty-year plan for transit services in the region
consisting of Lake, Summit, Eagle, Pitkin and Garfield Counties.
2. A Transit Advisory Committee is being established by the ITPR to direct the
production of the plan,with members including elected officials, citizens, and
transit officials.
3. The Board of County Commissioners wishes to appoint one of its members to the
Transit Advisory Committee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado that Dorothea Farris is appointed to serve as the elected official
Representative for Pitkin County on the Transit Advisory Committee.

12002.
