Pursuant to Subsection 4-30-50(i) of the Pitkin County Land Use Code, the Community Development Director of Pitkin County, Colorado ("Director") may approve a permit for Special Events. 2. Karim Souki(hereafter,the"Applicant")has applied to the Director for approval of Special Event Permit to conduct a benefit fundraiser on August 2°d,2016 at 20 West Bourg Trail. The event will consist of dinner,music,and a fundraising benefit for the Hillary Clinton campaign from 5:00AM to 8:00 PM. A maximum of 95 people will attend the event. 3. The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office and the Woody Creek Caucus have been made aware of the event. The Board of County Commissioners were made of the event application on July 26,2016 at a scheduled work session. All parking will be contained onsite. 4. The Director finds that, to the extent applicable, the application complies with the standards in Subsection 4-30-50(i)of the Land Use Code. The event will access the property from the main entrance on Upper River Road. Security, Medical, Safety The Hillary team will work through Security with local agencies directly. Transportation and Parking Guests will take their own vehicles. We estimate between 35 and 50 cars in total. There will be valet station within the property and they will park cars on what is know as Lot 8. Itisa flat, graded parcel with no structures. Sanitation We have 6 restrooms within existing structures with close proximity to the site. This is a catered event for a relatively small number of people. Trash cans and dumpsters we already have onsite will be sufficient Alcohol, Food Service Catered event with passed beverages and a sit-down dinner. Communication Plan: Not applicable. Very small event. Security Plan: Security will be handled by the United States Secret Service. They will coordinate with local agencies as needed.
